morganminstrelNick at Nite is celebrating their 20th anniversary by showing lineups of the major networks from 1985. Tonight is Tuesdays on ABC--Who's the Boss, Growing Pains and.....Moonlighting!
Not only are they showing an episode of Moonlighting, but they're showing the best episode of Moonlighting--"Atomic Shakespeare!" (Wherein the cast do their...version of "Taming of the Shrew.") I really, really wish I'd known beforehand so I could have gotten a tape ready. I actually had this episode on tape way back when, but I watched it (and the first season of Blackadder which was also on there) so many times, I wore it out.
I'd forgotten how much actual Shakespeare is in it and man, is it funny.
Now excuse me. I have to watch David Addison (Bruce Willis) sing "Good Lovin'" at Petruccio and Katarina's wedding now....
