And today, I....
Mar. 14th, 2005 10:59 pm1. returned an extraordinarily heavy grocery bag full of books (14 hardcovers, 1 softcover and 1 pamphlet) to one of the many UW libraries.
2. put a copy of the thesis in my advisor's mailbox (unfortunately, he was in a meeting).
3. had lunch with some of my seminar classmates. It was originally only 4 of us, but people kept coming by! (Well, ok, it wound up being 6 of us.) It was a lot of fun, really. I'm going to really miss seeing some of these people.
4. went to my last seminar and gave my presentation, which apparently went quite well. (I thought I just babbled a lot, but people told me it was really good. Oooookay.)
5. Turned a copy of the theis in to my seminar professor, thus ending the entire process.
So yeah. It's now totally out of my hands. I gave both profs SASEs, so I'll get the copies back with comments. And, of course, I'll see the big grade in...um...I think a couple of weeks. So now, two more finals (on Wednesday and Thursday) to go, and that's that.
God, I feel so....indulgent here. I keep going on about every little bit of the process everyday. That's why I try to give you guys links to compensate for the inanity of my academic minutiae. Hmm. I suppose I should try to find one for today, then, shouldn't I? How about some Photoshopped comic cover parodies? Eleven pages of them, in fact. Some of them aren't so hot, but some are real standouts. (The last one on the first page had me laughing out loud.)
So, there you are--enjoy and never mind the minutiae!
