An...interesting day.
Apr. 18th, 2005 08:34 pmAll in all, a good one, I think. Amythyst is home and sleeping. (The flight really tired her out.) This is very, very, very good. She had a great weekend and the bridal shower thing went really well. Which is good.
In slightly more equivocal goodness, I was headhunted today. Got a call from an agency representing some company in Kirkland (which one they could not disclose). They grabbed my resumé from one of the sites (careerbuilder.com, I think) and want me to come in for an interview. Which I will be doing on Thursday afternoon. Nothing may come of it; they may not think I'm right for the job and/or I may not think I'm right for the job. I dunno. I guess I'll see. It was just slightly surreal, that's all.
And then this returns us to the unequivocally good news! The series was definitely one of the bright spots of the mid-90s. Of course, I may hold off on buying it, since there's going to be a deluxe hardcover edition, and I could definitely enjoy owning that! :-)
As usual, all kinds of garbage floating around in my head that no one but me cares about. ;-) So I will spare you. More later, perhaps!
Oh, and Amythyst is home! Yay!
