Back on the horse

Just sent "The Bees" out to Asimov's Science Fiction. I should hear something within 6 weeks.

Somehow, I just don't have the thrill I did the first time. Probably because I just got continually annoyed at Kinkos (printed out letter on laser printer); what should have taken 5 minutes took about half an hour. sigh

I'm also feeling kind of hubristic (?) about sending out this story to two of the top SF fiction markets out there. (Actually, at this point F&SF and Asimovs are two of the top fiction markets of any kind at this point.) Should I have started smaller?

Also, writing? Not happening at all. Argh. Meant to go out somewhere and sit and write today, didn't happen. Argh.

Just generally not in a fantastic mood for no real reason. It'll pass.
