Phil Donahue takes on--and out--Bill O'Reilly. I don't know as he comes out perfectly (lotsa shouting on both sides), but he comes out a hell of a lot better than "Billy." And it was nice seeing O'Reilly practically hoist by his own petard--on his own show.

Windows and Quicktime versions--enjoy....
I realize this isn't news (been being worked on for a few years), but the British Library has put rare manuscripts up on the web so people can virtually "page through them!" (Found this out from an article on the BBC news site about the addition of the original Alice manuscript to the collection.)

Just...too cool.

Other than that, mostly crap day. Spent it at home, feeling really lousy and disheartened. No word from any of the job stuff I have out. Did some laundry. The good news is that Amythyst had a great first day at her new job and came home and lifted my spirits. One dinner of chinese food later, and I was feeling quite a bit better. Have registered with another agency (The Creative Group), so hopefully that'll lead to some new opportunities.

Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day. And...rare manuscripts!
