Today I had the very odd experience of wandering around Ronelyn and Ketina's empty house, looking (to a very limited extent) through their stuff while they are hundreds of miles away. Ronelyn has apparently forgotten the power cord for her laptop and (after getting their mail) I was set to look for it. I didn't find it (or your action figure, Strahd), which was a bit frustrating. It did give me the excuse to give them a call on my handy-dandy cell phone to ask if Ronelyn had any idea where she left it. She didn't, but I can report that she's trying very hard not to be nervous and mostly-kindof-somewhat succeeding. I'm sure Ketina will keep those of us who care updated. Anyway, I'd been in their house alone before (for example, when Ron had to go pick Ketina up from work or whatever), but it was just a little weird to let myself in and lock up behind me. Still, glad I can help. I'll probably look for the thing again later in the week.

So I've yet to start my essay. I'm finding (as always) the beginning to be very difficult. Also--what do I want to say? I have only 750 words and a tremendously broad amount of information I can or need to include. To give you an idea, here are the guidelines )
Pretty rough, huh? sigh I'll just have to figure out how to begin, I guess.

While sort of killing time, trying to get my brain moving, I looked around old journal entries and came across this. I have to admit, I'd completely forgotten about it. I wonder what I'll come up with when I'm procrastinating writing a paper come Autumn.....
