Even yet just another day
Jan. 24th, 2006 01:05 pmWell, it looks like I'll be driving Ronelyn to an electrolysis appointment today in CapHill. (Sorry, Saav, I'll only be there until 5:00 and it kind of just popped up. We'll have to figure out a different day/time to make the tape transfer.) I was perfectly willing to bail her out--she didn't feel she could handle the drive herself--and it'll help me get out of the house. I'm not feeling so hot today, physically or emotionally. Though I'd say the latter is tied to the former, I'd bet. Just depressed again today. Hopefully, getting out will shake me out of it a bit....After getting back, I fell back into my rut so fast, it'd make your head spin. Of course, given my energy levels, I doubt I'd be up for much serious activity anyway.
Ah hell, enough of this whinging. There are some good things in my life, amazingly enough. I've been reading some great books, I enjoyed Bleak House enough that I just can't wait for the next episode, I'm enjoying being back home with Amythyst....really, things aren't that bad, right? Sure, money's tight and our collective health isn't the best (I need to get health insurance, can't rely on the potentiality of employment) and I have no job. Other than that, things aren't bad, right? The sun is shining and the sky is blue (for once) and life doesn't suck. Well, not much anyway. ;-)
So yeah. Almost time to get going about my day. Maybe I'll update later about the books I've been reading or the CD Amythyst bought for me while I was away. Or maybe I won't. We'll see how I feel this evening...
Oh, and for folks who don't check LJ very often--remember you were logged out last night. Don't forget to log back in!
