Putting together my "Heroes" team-up
Feb. 5th, 2007 10:01 pmDuplicate Boy, Wolverine (but a time-lost young Logan), Kitty Pryde, Computo (Danielle Foccart, that is), Destiny (the Marvel one, the precog), Angel (from the X-Men, he can fly, you see), Susan Richards and, say, Saturn Girl ('cause I want another DC character in there for the telepath)
vs.
Rose & Thorn, the Composite Superman and (sort of) Henry Peter Gyrich.
Kind of scary how easy that was... ;-)
Oh! Forgot the ancilliary characters like Pyro, who was introduced last week. I'm sure there'll be more. :-)
I'm not thrilled with how the "big surprise ending" was blown thanks to the preview ads, though. It turned out to be exactly who I thought it would be. And I'm also not thrilled about the glacial pace continuing, but hey. It's TV, I guess. And we got some nice Christopher Eccleston stuff this week, so yay. :-) (Actually, what I liked best about this week was we got good looks at lots of Tim Sale artwork. hee.)
So yeah, still not on the edge of my seat, but definitely tuning in next week. Which is a success, I suppose. (Studio 60 might be on the chopping block, though, depending on how I feel when I get around to watching this week's episode on Wednesdayish....)
