Happy 10th Birthday, Sluggy Freelance!

Yes, 10 years ago today, Pete Abrams started his online comic Sluggy Freelance with this strip. I'm pretty sure I didn't start reading it until late '97, early '98, but I have been there for almost the whole ride, through the highs and the lows. (And there have been both, certainly.) It's pretty amazing that Pete's managed to keep things going this long--with no end in sight--and gone from drawing "Sluggy" in his spare time to having it as his full time job. (I'm pretty sure he was one of the first web cartoonists to make that leap.)

Congratulations, Pete!

Oh, and before I forget....

Happy birthday to hammercock! (who doesn't have her birthday registered with livejournal, by the by.) Have fun at dinner tonight!
