Just a reminder that you can still vote for Doctor Who in the US People's Choice Awards until tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9pm PDT! (6pm EST) In fact, you can vote today and tomorrow. In what has probably led to some dubious ballot stuffing (for other shows, natch), the PCA allows you to vote once per day.

I mean, sure, it's probably not going to win (I have my own guess what will), but we can still try, right?

So, go! Vote! Show the Beeb we Americans matter! (Well, for Doctor Who, anyway...)
I, for one, welcome our new Robot Overlords.
Wow, I am all over the map today.

Most every MST3K fan knows that BBI only licensed rights to most of the films they mocked, licenses which, with a few exceptions, expired years ago. The question of who owns the rights to the films and how easily Rhino (the company putting MST out on DVD) would be able to relicense them in order to release the episodes is obviously important to fans--especially after the "Godzilla Vs. Megalon" debacle a while ago. (To be short--Rhino was all set to release the episode, then Toho caught wind of it and said, uh, no.)

Lucky for us, one fan has compiled a list of rights holders and the likelyhood of individual episodes being licensed/released!

Cool, huh? Unfortunately, my favorite is listed as "Not Likely." Thankfully, I have a decent copy of it already.....
