Today, Elizabeth Windsor, HRH Elizabeth II of Great Britain, becomes the oldest monarch in British history, overtaking her great-great-great grandmother Victoria, at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 30 days. Elizabeth still has eight years to go if she wants to best the length of Victoria's reign, however.
