Hi all.
Thanks to the wonderful generosity of my lovely wife (who got up before 6am on her day off because they were going on sale while I would be on my morning commute), she and I are going to see "The Day of the Doctor" at it's one and only cinema showing in this area--on 23rd November. (A whole bunch more theaters are showing it on 25th November, so if you couldn't get tickets...try for that, I guess.) That evening, I have loosely planned having a little celebration/anniversary party.
So what I'm saying is you might not see a review here. If you do see one, it's not going to be like my normal thing--this wouldn't be a "just finished watching it, here's what I thought" review. At best, it'd be a "here's what stuck with me, let me look around the web to jog my memory", at worst a "thumbs up/thumbs down." And whatever it might be (if there's anything!), it very probably won't be posted that day.
I know there are still one or two of you who read and enjoy the reviews (and, I think, at least one or two of you who only checks here for them), so I wanted to give fair warning!
Oh, and "Enemy of the World" and "Web of Fear"? Were FANTASTIC. Seriously. Web was even better than I was hoping and Enemy surprised me at how wonderful it was. (Had never been impressed with it from soundtracks/recons.)
So yeah--there's the news! And yes, I am pretty excited!
