Doctor Who--35.11 "Heaven Sent" by Steven Moffat

Traditionally, I give some kind of spoiler-free capsule review here, so let me do that. This was very good indeed, featuring an excellent performance by Peter Capaldi and fantastic direction by Rachel Tallaly. Very, very good writing by Mr. Moffat, although the "twist" wasn't as twisty for me as I think he'd have expected. We're barreling towards the season finale, and this episode was a great ride, with great scares.
