Not a bad weekend. Went over to Ketina and Goodwrench's on Friday and had fun hanging out. Then Saturday Sarrabellum, Madein and son picked me up and we spent the afternoon/evening hanging out with Crash and Sah and their 7 month old baby boy! *biggrin!* I spent a good deal of the day holding, carrying or simply sitting with the baby, which was pretty wonderful. Babies are really great, and this one is so good! Not fussy at all, very inquisitive and just sweet. Today I did...well, nothing, actually. Hung out, read, worked on my Holiday music mix for the parties coming up (not that anyone will appreciate it, but oh well...), wrote out a couple of Christmas card...um...yeah. Real exciting. But hey, that's all right, a quiet day isn't a bad thing. :-)

In other news, I've done 8 little leaves in my embroidery pattern! A couple of them look really good, too, although most of them are...well, it's easy to see it's my first attempt. And that whole "should look the same on the front as it does on the back" thing? It's kinda out the window. But you know, when I finish a leaf (and hopefully other bits), it gives me *such* a great feeling, like I've accomplished something really great! It may not be much, but it's something nice I did. Hard to explain, but I hope I'm conveying a bit of it. Anyway, it's a lot of fun--although I've only done one kind of stitch (satin) so far...I'm kind of dreading the others! ;-)
