So, spoomeister came to the realization that "Speaker (or Nancy) Pelosi" scans pretty exactly with "Eleanor Rigby," but he couldn't come up with anything beyond that. And that's my kind of challenge, I guess...

There is something I want to say before I get to the lyrics. I am happy that the Democrats have taken Congress. I think there's the potential for good change to come out of it, though we'll obviously have to see what happens now that the Dems have some power again. I'm saying this because the song turned out very cynically. Not that there isn't a lot to be cynical about, given that this is politics. But I am much more excited than the song would let on--it's just how the lyrics scanned, ok? :-)
