Apr. 2nd, 2008

So yes, yesterday's "news post" was, in fact, an Aprils' fools joke. A poisson d'Avril, if you will. I hope no one is too upset. But all really plausible hoaxes have a germ of truth--or at least truthful rumor--and certainly we'll see old companions in the last episode or two of this season. And yes, there have been rumors about seeing pre-2005 companions (in addition to Sarah Jane, I mean), but nothing solid's come out. (Which, I suppose, would mean the production team would have had to be really sneaky if any of the rumors were true, given the scrutiny the show's under these days.)

And please note that the hoax could have been worse--I rejected entirely my first idea as being far, far too cruel to fans.

I know I fooled at least three of you (at least briefly), so I hope no one took offense. And, thankfully, that day's over. Happy April 2nd, everyone! 3 more days to series four/thirty!
"The Ballad of Lt. D'Amato", a Trek song by a Little Stuffed Bull.

y'know, I woulda posted this to Zen_Daily_Dose, but not enough of you read it and I wanted everyone to see this thing...hint hint...
Just....THIS.

First Jim Shooter returns to the Legion. (And I'm quite enjoying his run thus far, thanks for asking.) Then Geoff Johns starts playing with the pre-Crisis original Legion. (It's not quite the original, but it's looking pretty good thus far.)

Now Johns drops the bomb: Everything we know is RIGHT. Geoff Johns. George freaking Perez. Final Crisis: LEGION OF THREE WORLDS. Starting in August, all the Legionnaires, all the Legions are comin' home.

I realize this is pretty much unintelligible to most of you. sorry; just trust me that this is pretty awesome news for LSH fans....
