Annnnnd we're back! After far too long a wait (since last Christmas? Really??), Doctor Who is back on screens around the world. And about time, too.
A note: before watching this episode, I beg you, I implore you, if you haven't already, do watch the 5 mini-episodes of "Pond Life." A lot of it is just silliness, but it does set up an important situation explored in this episode. (Admittedly, not well, but I'll get to that in a bit.)
So, pre-spoiler space review? A really strong start to the season. Honestly scary, and not only for the reasons obvious in the title. Some "adds if you get it, but doesn't subtract if you don't" easter eggy references. Yeah, I enjoyed it.
And now, ( the first spoiler space )
NEXT WEEK: Um, well, the title says it all, really. It's "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" by Chris Chibnall--far from my favorite writer on the new series, but I'm still excited!
