Guess I should say something more....

...about my hellish little week. So, I got back from being with Amythyst and her parents for Thanksgiving, and boy, did I not want to leave. Anyway, while there, I caught a cold, which then flew back with me. My ears, by the time I arrived home, were not in the best of shape. (Man, this is dull.) Long story short (too late!), As the week went on, I developed a pretty severe pain in my right side chest and my right arm when I ate. (It appeared at other time, but was most consistent and severe during eating and drinking.) In the opinion of some friends (Amythyst and Seth among them), I had pulled one or several muscles carrying luggage back to Seattle from the wilds of New Jersey. Since the pain didn't go away, I went to health services at BCC on Thursday. They told me to go to a free clinic (yes, I have no insurance. yes, I am an idiot) on Saturday. So, this morning, I did. What did I find out? Well, we can all breathe safe--it's not pneumonia. It also doesn't seem to be something wrong with my esophagus. The theory is that it *is* a sprained muscle that has been exacerbated by my cold (and all the coughing I've been doing). However, it's only a theory. So for the next week, it's 400mg of Motrin, 3 times a day. If it's not better by Saturday, well, back to the clinic I go. Hope with me, ok? I miss being able to eat without pain....
