This vacation thing is weird.

Lots of time to fill. :-) Last night, I hung out online and watched a bunch of tv. (Including the Doctor Who DVD I borrowed from Ketina and Goodwrench a million years ago. Really fun--it had a function that gave little pop-up facts about the production. Neat!) That's...about it, really. So much for starting all the writing... ;-) Plenty of time, plenty of time. (I've decided I'll hold off trying anything crafty until the post-X-mas sales makes buying materials more economical.)
So here I sit, listening to the wonderful voice and tremendous lyrics of Ms. Sandy Denny. Wow, her work never ceases to amaze me...most people wish they had 1/10th of the talent Sandy had. One of my many regrets was that I never got to hear her sing in person. (If you only know "The Battle of Evermore," you don't know Sandy.) Big recommendation for anything she was involved in that you can get your hands on, especially "Liege and Lief," "Unhalfbricking" and "Rising for the Moon" (with Fairport), "Fotheringay" or, well, anything, really. What a voice, what a mind...what a tragedy.
Anyway, enough rhapsodic musing. I should probably get dressed. (Yep, vacation. Maybe it's not so bad...) More later, possibly....
